SOL-1 Loudness Optimizer

SOL-1 Loudness Optimizer for Windows — 🆕 Updated to V3!

We have completely eliminated the pumping effect that occurred in some tracks by applying Static Gain, perfectly preserving your original mix balance. To achieve this, we strictly prioritize the True Peak limit of -1.0 dB, which means the final LUFS may occasionally be slightly lower than your target. This is the exact same normalization specification used by YouTube and other major streaming platforms.

SOL-1 is a standalone loudness optimization tool for Windows, designed for music producers, YouTubers, and content creators who need fast, accurate loudness normalization without the complexity.

Simply drag and drop a WAV file — SOL-1 analyzes the current LUFS and True Peak before processing, so you can review the results and decide whether to proceed. No guesswork, no unnecessary steps.

The original file is never modified. The optimized file is saved in the same folder, ready to compare side by side.

Overview

SOL-1 uses a two-pass FFmpeg loudnorm process compliant with ITU-R BS.1770-4, the international standard for broadcast and streaming loudness. Whether you need to optimize for YouTube, Spotify, or Apple Music, SOL-1 handles it in seconds.

Features

  • Pre-processing analysis — review LUFS, True Peak, and gain before any changes are made
  • Post-processing results — Output LUFS & True Peak displayed after processing for instant verification
  • YouTube Mode (no boost) — when enabled, files already quieter than the target LUFS are skipped automatically, preserving dynamic range without unwanted boosting
  • Two-pass loudness processing compliant with ITU-R BS.1770-4
  • Presets for YouTube (-14 LUFS), Spotify (-14 LUFS), Apple Music (-16 LUFS), and Other (-14 LUFS / custom)
  • Target LUFS adjustable from -25 to -5 LUFS
  • True Peak options: -1.5 / -1.0 / -0.5 dBTP
  • Output saved in the same folder as the source file
  • Original bit depth and sample rate preserved
  • FFmpeg included — no additional installation required
  • Can also be used as a standalone loudness measurement tool
