Overview
SOL-2 is a guitar-focused dynamics processing plugin that separates your signal into its transient (attack) and sustain (body) components, allowing you to shape each independently.
Unlike a conventional compressor, SOL-2 lets you add punch without squashing sustain, or tighten a loose performance without losing its natural feel. The result is a more controlled, consistent sound that still breathes and responds like a real guitar.
Designed for guitarists who want to shape and refine their playing dynamics — from clean-tone rhythm and cutting patterns to lead guitar pick attack nuance.

- Transient Shaper: Control the attack of every note. Raise LEVEL to add punch and snap, or lower it to even out pick attack variation across a performance.
- Sustain Compressor: A transparent feed-forward compressor with Threshold, Ratio, Release, and Makeup Gain — tuned specifically for guitar response.
- Sidechain EQ (TILT + FOCUS): Shape how the detector responds to different frequencies. Make the compressor more or less sensitive to specific parts of the frequency spectrum.
- Advanced EQ Panel: A 3-band parametric EQ (Bell / Shelf) with an interactive frequency graph and real-time FFT spectrum analyser. Apply EQ to the sidechain, the output, or both simultaneously.
- HPF / LPF: High-pass and low-pass filters on the output signal for clean, focused tone.
- CLEAR MID: A bell-shaped cut centred around 350 Hz to remove low-mid congestion and boxiness.
- A/B Comparison: Two independent parameter states for instant before/after comparison without saving a preset.
- Preset Management: Save and recall your settings as XML files. Green floppy = overwrite, grey floppy (+) = save as new.
- MIX (Dry/Wet): Full parallel processing support. Blend the processed signal with the original for transparent, natural results.
- ZOOM: Scale the UI to 75%, 100%, 125%, or 150%.
